Roarke Custom Builders was founded in 1986. We provide a complete range of building services from whole house renovations and additions to custom millwork and landscaping. Our area of service spans the Capital Region and as far away as southern Vermont and Lake George. We have worked diligently to provide each client with personalized service; service that is worth recommending to others.   This remains at the center of all we do today. The Process of Choosing a Builder It’s likely that your here because you are considering a project and are seeking a builder to help you bring your ideas to reality. In many ways this is the most important part of the process.  Investing time and making a wise decision here will pay dividends throughout the course of the work and beyond. It is important to select a builder that aligns its priorities with yours. If you haven’t yet defined which order you arrange these, you may want to:           • quality           • time           • budget Each building or remodeling project is a custom solution to a specific set of problems.  No two are exactly alike.  Let me give you an executive summary of our company and why we are well equipped to help craft a custom solution for you: • Michael Roarke, President, holds both Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) and Certified Green Professional (CGP) designations.  The CGR designation was established in 1988 and there are about 850 CGR’s nationwide. • Our experienced production staff; many whose tenure is more than a decade provide a vast encyclopedia of knowledge from which to build the best solution for your project. • We have chosen to build RCB with carefully selected employees and a few closely held trade partners.  We have chosen to invest in our people making turnover virtually nonexistent. • Our trained office staff provides professional estimates, proposals and contracts along with timely communication that is vital to any building project. • We employ a full time Client Service Manager and have a 90 day and one year follow-up program. • We have an outstanding safety record and are fully insured. • We are actively involved in the Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association, the Remodelers Council and the Green Building Council. • We are actively involved in continuing education though the National Association of Home Builders professional certification programs.
